This book is illustrated by Fredrick Richardson. The front piece is data 1906 (MCMVI), the same as the copyright page. Additionally the top of the book is gilded. The gilding is lightly worn, but is still very bright. There is also gilding on the front cover and the fore piece. The book includes all 8 full color plates covered by a protecting page. All in immaculate condition.
The book is in G/G+ condition meaning good/good+. This lies between Very Good and Fair. The points of damage are minimal but noticeable. The book is scuffed on the outside but still presentable. There is a torn of corner on the cover image. The spine is strong but the binding has become loose setting free the first page. It is still straight and holds the other pages in place.
